Why we start with a consultation
Every treatment begins with a medical assessment. We need to understand your medical history, current health, skin condition and concerns before prescribing any procedure. This protects your safety and ensures the treatment is clinically appropriate for you.
During your consultation, Dr Langdon will explain what the treatment can realistically achieve, any risks specific to you, and whether an alternative might be more appropriate.
All bookings are subject to our Booking Conditions.

Clinical overview
HydraFacial Keravive works on the principle that a healthy scalp is essential for healthy hair. The treatment follows a three-step process: first, the scalp is cleansed and exfoliated to remove dead skin cells, sebum and impurities that can inhibit hair follicle function. Second, the Keravive Peptide Complex Solution is delivered to hydrate and nourish the scalp with growth factors and skin proteins. Third, circulation is boosted to support delivery of nutrients to the hair follicles. Keravive is suitable for patients experiencing thinning hair, a dry or flaky scalp, or those who want to optimise scalp health as a foundation for hair quality. It is not a cure for advanced hair loss conditions, and suitability is assessed during consultation where we consider your scalp health, hair concerns, medical history and expectations. For patients with more significant hair thinning, Keravive may be recommended alongside other regenerative treatments for a combined approach.

Final suitability is confirmed during a medical consultation and assessment.
When we don't recommend it
- If hair loss is advanced and requires medical diagnosis or surgical options — we will refer you appropriately rather than offering a treatment that may not meet your needs.
- If there is an active scalp infection or severe inflammatory condition — treatment should be delayed and the underlying condition addressed first.
- If expectations are for dramatic hair regrowth from Keravive alone — we will be honest about realistic outcomes and discuss whether a combination approach is more appropriate.
- If a different regenerative treatment would be more effective as the primary intervention for your specific pattern of hair thinning.
- If your scalp and hair concerns have an underlying medical cause that should be investigated before cosmetic treatment is considered.
