At Berkshire Aesthetics in Maidenhead, we offer a carefully selected range of treatments chosen for their clinical evidence, safety profile, and proven results. We do not chase trends or stock every product on the market. Instead, we invest in treatments we trust, know well, and can deliver safely.

Every treatment journey begins with a face-to-face consultation with Dr Selena Langdon (MBBS). We take time to understand your concerns, assess your suitability, and explain your options honestly — including when we think a treatment is not the right choice. There is no obligation to proceed, and we encourage you to take the time you need to make an informed decision.

Our approach is consultation-first, not sales-first. We build treatment plans around realistic expectations, clinical safety, and your individual anatomy. Whether you are considering your first injectable treatment or want to explore skin resurfacing or body contouring, we will guide you through what is appropriate and achievable.

All treatments are delivered in our CQC-registered clinic on Furze Platt Road, Maidenhead, serving patients across Berkshire, including Reading, Windsor, Wokingham, and Slough.

How to choose the right treatment

With so many treatments available, choosing the right one can feel overwhelming. Here are a few things to consider:

  • Start with your concern, not a product. Tell us what bothers you — we will recommend what is most likely to help.
  • Consider your lifestyle. Some treatments have minimal downtime, others require a few days of recovery. We will explain this clearly.
  • Think about maintenance. Some results are long-lasting, others require top-ups. We will be upfront about ongoing costs.
  • Be realistic about outcomes. We set honest expectations and will tell you if a treatment cannot achieve what you are hoping for.
  • Use our comparison guides. Our treatment comparison pages break down key differences to help you narrow your options before your consultation.

Regenerative Medicine

Bio-stimulating treatments that support the body's natural healing processes, promoting collagen production and tissue regeneration to restore skin health and integrity.

Face Treatments

Advanced clinical treatments using medical-grade technology to address skin conditions including scarring, pigmentation, skin laxity, and poor skin health.

Body Contouring

Medically supervised non-surgical treatments to address stubborn adipose tissue, muscle weakness, and body concerns affecting patient confidence and physical wellbeing.

Frequently Asked Questions

The best treatment depends on your specific concerns, skin type, medical history, and goals. During your consultation, we conduct a thorough assessment and discuss which options are most suitable. We will always explain why we recommend a particular approach — and when a treatment may not be appropriate for you.
Yes. Every patient receives a face-to-face medical consultation before any treatment is performed. This is a clinical requirement, not a sales meeting. We assess suitability, explain the process, discuss realistic expectations, and ensure you have time to make an informed decision.
In many cases, combining treatments can achieve better outcomes than a single treatment alone. For example, anti-wrinkle injections and skin boosters often complement each other well. We will advise on safe combinations and appropriate spacing between treatments during your consultation.
Anti-wrinkle injections relax muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles (like frown lines and crow's feet), while dermal fillers add volume to areas that have lost fullness or to enhance features like lips and cheeks. Many patients benefit from both treatments used together.
When prescribed and performed by qualified medical professionals using approved products, medical aesthetic treatments have excellent safety profiles. We only use CE-marked, FDA-approved products and conduct thorough medical consultations to assess suitability for each patient. Our clinic is CQC registered and all treatments are clinically overseen by a GMC-registered doctor.
Results vary by treatment: anti-wrinkle injections typically last 3–4 months, dermal fillers 6–18 months depending on the product and area, and skin treatments may have cumulative benefits with a series of sessions. We discuss expected timelines during your consultation.
Most injectable and skin treatments have minimal downtime. You may experience temporary redness, swelling, or bruising. We provide detailed aftercare instructions for each treatment and are available if you have any concerns during recovery.
If we assess that a treatment is not suitable for you — whether due to medical history, skin condition, or unrealistic expectations — we will tell you honestly. Where possible, we will suggest alternative approaches that may be more appropriate.
